1. Do your research!

Understand what courses are available, what universities and their geographical locations, our education consultants will keep you up to date of options making you very well informed. We still advice that you do your research.

We advise that you look into the teaching modules, research opportunities, life at the campus and employment opportunities, these are things you must consider. Spending time and researching shall certainly help to narrow down your search.

Do ask your education consultant, they will be more than happy to help you narrow the search, also ask friends, family and possibly even an Alumni of Universities.

2. Starting your first search

Go ahead and book an appointment with our education consultants. 3. Completing your application

Its time to now apply.

Your consultant will support you at every step of the way for your course application. It is actually a fun process, your consultant shall contact our London Office admissions team and they will ensure everything is up to speed, giving you the more likely chance of acceptance by the University.

At BOE we take it upon ourselves to take the responsibility and accountability to abide by strict legal and ethical standards.

If you really need to sharpen up your English language skills to qualify for the course, you need to dedicate some time and practise hard to get the test results you need. A test such as an IELTS is required, to know all about the test click IELTS.

4.Conditional Offer and Unconditional Offer

As your application is submitted, the university will thoroughly review in detail your application and notify the BOE London team of the answer. Keep in mind with multiple thousands of applications submitted to the University it takes up to a few weeks for your application to be processed.

If you submitted application is successful, you shall receive a conditional offer letter and an acceptance form. Before you select the conditional offer, you must go through it all carefully with your consultant.

If you are accepted for more than one course by multiple universities, your consultant will advise you on the best possible option for you. The conditional offer is assigned for academic approval once signed off by you it shall be assigned for credibility and academic interview. Once approved, you shall receive an unconditional offer letter.

5. Your Tier 4 Student Visa

When you have accepted the offer letter, the next important step is to obtain your Tier 4 student visa. Your University in the UK has an immigration and visa team with a set of formalities to fulfil.

Your education consultant will guide you through all the visa application processes. Our consultants will provide you with training for the interview, making sure that you are all prepared and ready. You will also be guided upon any other documents needed well in advance, giving you that extra time.

Passport Copy front Page and Rear Page

IELTS Certificate (UKVI Academic) a minimum of an overall score of 5.5 and above. IELTS Equivalent accepted – PTE, TOEFL IBT

All educational transcripts / Mark Sheets and certificates obtained so far, whether high school diploma, bachelors, masters.

Yearly individual marksheets, certificates and final degree certificates.

Statement of Purpose related to the selected course

Letter of professional references x2

Evidence of funding (bank statement with funds on account for a period of 28 consecutive days finishing on the date of the closing balance. This shows that you have appropriate funds in place for the course and funds to live in the UK). Please keep in mind that the funds must be held in either the students account or their parent’s/legal guardian’s account. It cannot be held in anyone else's name.

Work experience letter

All previous CAS/Visa letters issued from previous UK Educational Institutes (If you have studied in the UK before)

All Visa copies and biometric cards including the first UK entry visa. (If studied in the UK before)

Vaccination Results (Please contact your consultant, changes are being made on an going basis, your consultant will be able to give up to date advice)

6. Planning your accommodation in the UK

If you are not staying at the university campus accommodation, you will have to of course find out where to stay and have an idea of some dates when you will arrive in the UK.

Luckily for you at BOE London, we have access to over 27,000+ student accommodation, in over 43 towns and cities nearby to Universities, transport links and amenities.

Our team will guide you according to your expectations of budget and lifestyle, whether it be a studio, single room in a student house share. With house share the bills such as electricity, internet, water, tv license is all included in the rent, in some instances there are meal options.

Expenses will vary from place to place; we will also guide you with any tenant insurance needs that you may require for your peripherals and personal belongings.

7. Book your flights on time

You must ensure that you give yourself enough time, thus book your flights well in advance. Flight tickets to the UK change frequently, give yourself some time to overlook the flight ticket prices and try and book at the lowest fares. Also check the maximum number of baggage allowance and total weight allowance. Remember any liquids such as creams, lotions and perfume must be kept to a minimum, check your in-country travel guidelines for carrying liquids.

8. Get set, go!

The adventure awaits you. Their will be a number of things that you must be prepared for before you start your travel to the UK. Your consultant will keep you well informed in advance, you will also be a participant in a pre-departure session, giving you enough time to think of what you need and be prepared. We make it mandatory that you take part in our pre departure session, we want to make sure that you are comfortable from the moment you arrive at the UK.

Matters including money exchange to GBP, insurance, accommodation, local transport from the airport to your new home, sim card, opening a local bank account, and the do’s and don’ts in the UK, including local cultural adaptation.
